Biosecurity Field Officer
His work involves monitoring of the Huanglongbing (HLB) vectors, Diaphorina citri and Trioza erytrea in Southern Africa. His work also includes identification of different psylloid species captured during field monitoring surveys around the country.
Prior to his current position with CRI,
he served as a junior quality control inspector of citrus at Perishable Products Export Control Board (PPECB). His duties was to acquaint farmers with the legislative framework of export business, inspect and certify perishable products, draw and send samples for MRL laboratory analysis and ensure compliance to the Act, regulation, SOP, protocols and procedures for export of regulated perishable products.
